Mini Bag

Following a pattern takes patience and there are times when it can be challenging to decipher how to put the item together.

I ran into a bit of a problem making my fabric bag, how to connect the fabric handle after I had connected the lining to the exterior of the bag.  I just could not envision how it would work, so I had to make a miniature sample bag to work out the kinks.

My model is borrowed courtesy of a friend, ironically in the summer issue of Sew Stylish magazine, there is an article that recommended using wooden figures as mini dress form, glad to know I am on target with the trend.

Early March 2017

My love for travel, history and exploring started with books, my natural curiosity did the rest.

NYC tour

Empire state building.

The Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum

When in NYC shopping is not far from my mind, so I visited LV and got myself a present.

Later in March my BFF and I dance to Uncle Charlie in concert.

Early July 2017

Off to the races I went on a tour of Belmont Park Race Track, the place is huge and makes me wonder what it is like when they have the Belmont Stakes. There were plenty of people having picnics at the park, others there for the races.
