The Betz White Olive Swing bag http://blog.betzwhite.com/2010/08/olive-swing-bag-pattern.html
was begging to be the next bag pattern that I sewed, I made the bag for the Pattern Review Bag Challenge. The challenge is running from August 1st thru August 15th, 2012. This bag feels goods and looks even better. I chose a fabric with a bit of geometric lines, matching up the lines was a bit tricky but I got it as close as possible.
The bag is reversible and so for the lining I went with a more easier print no lines just dots. The next time I make this bag I am going to try a non geometric fabric for the exterior, but if I do find a Geo Fab that I love I will deal with the quirks, kinda like love :-).
Plenty of top stiching went into this bag, unlike my last bag that did not require any, my seam ripper never saw so much work, top stiching requires lots of practice and patience, it is a good thing I enjoy sewing, buying fabric, buying notions....

I found that the horizontal diamond layout of the fabric was more pleasing to my eye than the vertical layout. I originally wanted to use a Rose color Bias tape but went with the Silver color instead, the Rose did blend well.
